From the Blueside Emotional Design collection comes a new long-neck vase made of 3.3 borosilicate glass, mouth-blown by master artisans in Perugia: Astemio. Its shape was born from an unexpected creative detour—originally conceived as a decanter, a miscalculation in proportions transformed it into an object of singular beauty and surprising balance.

Astemio transcends functionality to embrace emotional design: a vase that can hold a tall flower, a twisted branch, a bamboo cane—essentially a collectible element or a small glass sculpture that tells the story of the connection between intuition, art, and craftsmanship. Its pure transparency and the durability of borosilicate glass make it a one-of-a-kind piece, where a mistake becomes brilliance.

It’s called Astemio (“abstainer”) because wine was never its destiny—but design was.
