The Blueside Sospiro is a cute mouth-blown shot glass to serve wine, spirits or simply a good moka coffee in a glass cup!
A modern interpretation of the tavern glass, introduced in Rome by Pope Sixtus X in the late 19th century; from the same family as Fojetta (typical ½ litre tavern carafe) and Quartino (¼ litre), “Sospiro (1/10 litre), i.e. "sigh", because most of tavern people were ashamed of not having enough money to drink more.
