Natalìa is a vase made of handcrafted borosilicate glass 3.3, characterised by a slender silhouette and a regular sequence of sinuous shapes running along its entire height.
The glass rhythmically narrows and expands, creating a series of perfectly symmetrical volumes. The curves shape the profile of the vase while the transparency of the material creates layers, reflections and subtle distortions that change with the light and the viewing angle.
Its narrow, vertical form is designed to hold just a few stems or even a single flower, making them an integral part of the composition. The stem visually passes through the sequence of glass forms, emphasising their rhythm and verticality.
The name Natalìa is inspired by natelli, the small floats traditionally arranged along fishing nets. Their shapes, suspended among ropes, nets and water, are reinterpreted in glass through an orderly sequence of curves that evokes the rhythm of the waves and the atmosphere of Mediterranean harbours.
Even without flowers, Natalìa retains a strong sculptural identity: an object in which repetition, symmetry and transparency transform a memory of the sea into a contemporary form.
